Art has always been a huge part if my life. When I was in the 3rd grade I was asked to do a project in what I wanted to be when I grow up, I said I wanted to be an artist. I drew easels with little canvases. I didn’t know how I was going to do it, I just knew I would some day. I was born in Southern California and grew up in Hawaii and had a very sheltered and strict life but art was always my escape. A way to truly express myself without holding back. I left Hawaii in my early 20s and moved to Idaho where I finally was able to be my own person. I was able to find myself through art and meeting new people. I was a baker/ pastry chef for 10 years. I used that as my creative outlet for a long time but it was never what I truly wanted to do, I just happened to be good at it. I decided to finally quit my job and pursue my actual dream. And fortunately someone decided I was worth taking a chance on. I started my apprenticeship under Shaun McNabb in February 2021. I have been tattooing now since June of that year. Having such a supportive mentor and being surrounded by so many amazing and knowledgeable artists in the shop, I have been able to learn and absorb so much information and apply it in ever tattoo. And I am so proud to be where I am in my tattooing career because of it. And even more so, excited to see my my continued progress through the many years to come.
